Position Overview

WhirlWind Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Principal Network Architect who shall provide network architecture and design services while ensuring secure, reliable, and low latency networking .

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
• Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines in accordance with the organization's strategy and goals.
• Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
• Advises on selection of technological purchases regarding processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
• Sets standards for the client / server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).
• Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management. Tracks current plans.
• Monitors and reviews the success of systems and ensures efficiency and effectiveness.

Education

• Minimum BS / BA degree in related field (or equivalent certification, or years of experience)
• Must have at least one certification from the list below :

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty
• Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert
