Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead strategic engineering initiatives in NetSec. You will act as an Expert IC and Systems Thinker, driving multi-program execution across architectural boundaries and resolving ambiguity between teams to improve delivery across the lifecycle.

You will shape AI adoption, coach TPMs on AI workflows, and align programs with platform, firewall, and cloud security engineering groups.

Qualifications

12+ years of technical program management experience leading large-scale software, cloud security, or enterprise networking programs.
Demonstrated track record of owning multiple high-complexity programs across collaborating product divisions.
Deep technical understanding of Network Security, Cloud Firewalls, Distributed Runtime Security Agents, or Enterprise AI Data Governance platforms.
Proven ability as a Systems Thinker—defining product development processes and running retrospectives for scaling teams.
Demonstrated leadership in AI adoption with hands-on experience applying AI tools/workflows to engineering delivery.
Strong communication skills and influence across functions; able to present to executives.

Responsibilities

Own the execution of multiple highly complex engineering programs from inception through release.
Drive system-wide process changes and implement metrics dashboards to measure progress and quality.
Influence technical design and architectural decisions across multiple programs and teams.
Ensure end-to-end product completeness and cross-functional collaboration (Engineering, QA, PLM, Operations, Cloud Infrastructure).
Lead AI transformation initiatives and mentor TPMs on AI workflows to improve productivity.
