Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (JP) seeks a Principal MRP Planner in Sunnyvale, CA to lead strategic manufacturing schedules and material planning across programs.

You will manage BOMs, ERP data, and production routings, coordinating with GSC, Quality, and Program teams to ensure on-time delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in advanced MS Excel, SAP, and capacity planning in bottleneck environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; experience levels stated in basic qualifications.
• APICS certification or training preferred.
• Production planning experience in heavy fabrication and machining environments.
• Experience with data mining and enterprise software tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and analyze manufacturing schedules, ERP, and material procurement to support program goals and contract deliverables.
• Support programs from inception with pricing requests to end with reconciliation.
• Review make/buy structures and capacity to determine sourcing needs; manage SAP data like BOMs and production routings.
• Ensure configuration conformance by reviewing parts lists, drawings, and BOMs; resolve scheduling and material issues cross-functionally.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules considering MBOM, lead times, bottlenecks, and pegging data.
• Participate in scheduling reviews with Operations management and support global supply chain teams.
