Overview

Seeking engineers for an exciting opportunity with the MMIC Design Center organization under CAES by Honeywell Defense Systems, located in Richardson, TX or Forsyth, MO. The center develops advanced RF solutions, including GaN and GaAs-based MMICs, for internal and external customers, supporting system architectures and trade studies.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with MMIC specifications and trade-offs.
  • Lead design activities for GaN and GaAs MMIC products.
  • Design advanced packaging, including multi-chip modules and flip-chip interfaces.
  • Interface with customers regarding performance and compliance.
  • Develop new technology and contribute to roadmaps.
  • Utilize RF circuit simulation tools like AWR, ADS, Sonnet, or HFSS.
  • Lead IR&D projects and support proposal efforts.
  • Perform RF/Microwave measurements in the lab.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team activities.
Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 11+ years in advanced semiconductor technologies like GaN or GaAs, experience with microwave measurements, and US export law compliance.

Preferred: Advanced degrees, experience with linear Power Amplifiers, proficiency with simulation tools, broad RF/microwave circuit knowledge, and DOD experience.

Additional Information

Salary range: $149,893.51 - $219,589 annually. Benefits include health coverage, 401K, paid leave, and more. CAES is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
