Job summary

Archer in collaboration with LexisNexis is seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AI/ML systems and agentic architectures that power next-generation legal research and analytics products. This role focuses on enterprise-grade ML platforms, LLM infrastructure, and robust deployment practices.

You will lead the design and deployment of distributed ML systems, agent frameworks, and governance to support global products with large unstructured data sets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ML/Software Engineer experience.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in CS or related field desirable.
• Strong software engineering background with system design experience for large user bases.
• Experience deploying ML to production.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction and code-level guidance for ML systems.
• Establish engineering best practices for ML design, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct design reviews and technical roadmap planning.
• Architect distributed ML systems serving multiple global products.
• Define and implement enterprise-ready agentic frameworks and multi-step reasoning systems.
