SLR Consulting (Americas) seeks a senior Principal Mine Permitting & NEPA Consultant to guide high-profile mining projects in Arizona and the Southwest. You will lead regulatory strategies, engage regulators and stakeholders, and manage multi-disciplinary teams across the Americas.

We are SLR Consulting (Americas), a 1500+ team of advisory, environmental, engineering, and regulatory professionals across Canada, the United States, and LATAM. We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. We are Making Sustainability Happen. As our new Principal Mine Permitting & NEPA Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding high‑profile natural resource and mining projects in Arizona and the Southwestern states with opportunities to expand across other U.S. regions. This is a senior, client‑facing role where your strategic leadership on high‑profile projects will shape the future of responsible resource development. You’ll leverage your technical expertise and deep industry experience to influence regulators, engage stakeholders, and guide multi‑disciplinary teams. You will bring deep experience navigating complex federal and state regulatory frameworks to manage multidisciplinary regulatory projects and guide major natural resource projects to successful approval. In addition, you will play a significant role in growing our mining business and our team of environmental professionals in the Southwest U.S. region. You will lead consulting projects for key mining clients, mentor rising talent, and foster a culture of quality and excellence.
