Job summary

Roche is seeking an experienced Principal Medical Director to guide late-stage neuroscience development within our Neuro portfolio. The role focuses on developing the Clinical Development strategy and plans, ensuring efficient execution and regulatory alignment across multiple programs, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has MD/MBBS/MD-PhD with Board Certification in Neurology, 7+ years in pharma/biotech R&D, and a proven record in global development

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS/MD-PhD with Board Certification in Neurology and extensive trial experience.
• Experience authoring global clinical development plans and interactions with health authorities (FDA/EMA).
• Strong background in Phase II–III drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and strategic program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead CD strategy and execution for assigned neuroscience portfolios.
• Oversee end-to-end drug development plans and regulatory alignment for programs.
• Mentor physicians/scientists and engage with health authorities and external partners.
