Job summary

System One is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer for onsite work in Charlotte, NC. The role leads EPC power and industrial projects, overseeing mechanical design, coordination, and technical execution with accountability for schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in power/industrial sectors, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and strong leadership and communication skills to interface with clients and vendors. Regulatory compliance and PE stamping are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in power, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Strong experience with heat exchangers, pumps, and rotating equipment, ASME pressure vessels and piping systems, power plant equipment (CTGs, STGs, HRSGs).
• Knowledge of ASME codes and EPC execution.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
