Ricardo Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Principal Mechanical Development Engineer based in Detroit to lead powertrain and transmission development efforts. You will work across automotive, industrial, and marine domains, coordinating with testing, design, and supplier teams and traveling as required to customer locations.

• Experience in automotive mechanical development.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage powertrain and transmission development projects.
• Develop and validate powertrain components and systems.
• Plan and execute design validation plans (DVPs) and testing.
• Coordinate with test, design, analysis, and supplier teams.
• Lead investigations and report technical findings for customers.
