Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead piping and refrigeration system design for cold storage projects.

You will collaborate with fabrication, construction, procurement, and the project team to deliver high-performance, compliant solutions. Responsibilities include designing mechanical rooms and rooftop systems, performing thermal and structural analyses, creating detailed drawings, and supporting on-site commissioning.

Competenze

• Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of mechanical system design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; travel to job sites may be required.

Mansioni

• Lead the design of mechanical rooms, rooftop penthouses, piping systems, and other refrigeration components.
• Perform advanced engineering calculations including thermal analysis, tolerance dimensions, and structural evaluations.
• Ensure all designs comply with company, client, and regulatory standards.
• Submit detailed drawings for review and coordinate with upper management and build teams.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support during system installation; generate BOMs and input specs into ERP.
