Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking Manufacturing / Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join the Sentinel program. The role focuses on creating manufacturable designs, leading manufacturing processes, and collaborating with Design Eng to ensure robust production readiness.

Responsibilities include technical leadership, process development, and on-site support. Requires DoD Secret clearance, and offers a 9/80 schedule with relocation assistance possible.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required
• Experience with Design Reviews, Process Control Documentation, and Work Instructions
• Familiarity with Bills of Materials and mechanical/electrical drawings
• Experience with Siemens NX/CPLM or similar tools and MES
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization as a technical contact with senior personnel on important technical matters
• Develop processes by studying requirements; research, design, modify, and test production/deployment methods and equipment
• Collaborate with Design Engineering on design to ensure practical manufacturing and fabrication solutions
• Resolves complex process issues and improves safety, quality, cost
• Provide on-site engineering support during field installations
• Establish and maintain a program project plan aligned with the IMS
