Principal / Management Consultant – Data Governance and FAIR data - remote (m/w/d)
Your mission
  • Take ownership of one or more projects, leading a project team while ensuring that customer expectations are met.
  • Establish and implement best practices and methods for our customers to leverage data value, such as defining/enhancing data governance frameworks and operating models, implementing data governance in functional areas across R&D, quality and manufacturing & supply, master data management, data quality, and selecting vendors.
  • Serve as a liaison between business functions, IT and software vendors.
  • Enhance business processes to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Advocate MAIN5's values and methods of work.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and propose ways to improve team performance.

Your profile
  • With more than 7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, you have gained expertise in business processes and data flows across R&D functions (such as clinical, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance), quality and manufacturing & supply and understand how processes and data flows are connected cross-functionally.
  • You are a visionary with the ability to drive digital transformation in Life Sciences, enabling data-driven culture supported by a robust data governance framework and operating models.
  • You are an expert in data management, including Data Governance and Master Data Management.
  • You have a profound understanding of FAIR data principles and how to apply these to business and IT functions in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • You have an affinity to business and technology which enables you to translate between both effectively.
  • You have a plus in experience with tools such as MDM systems, FAIR tools (e.g., data marketplaces, semantic data platforms), and data cataloging/lineage tools.
  • Additionally, you have a plus in experience in ontologies and semantic data modeling.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the bigger picture.
  • As a communicative team player, you can work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
