PRINCIPAL MACHINIST - SR. MACHINIST - CNC Machinist

Who We Are:

The Mechanical Fabrication Center comprises two areas: the Machine Shop, which creates precision machined components, and the Fabrication Shop, an ASME Pressure Vessel production operation involved in structural and piping efforts. Joining our team includes a $500.00 sign-on bonus (minus applicable taxes)!

Objectives of this Role:

1. Produce precision machined parts from engineering data.
2. Be proficient in all aspects of machining craft, equipment, and tooling to accomplish complex tasks.
3. Work independently with minimal oversight.
4. Guide less experienced staff to enhance their skills and career growth.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a low scrap rate and record of non-conforming items.
2. Engage with clients and establish expertise in the Precision Machining craft.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7-15 years of experience in precision machining and related activities.
• Experience producing parts from engineering data.
• Valid and clear driver's license.

Special Requirements:

Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR compliance.
