Job summary

RTX is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide support to U.S. Government customers at the IFMC Field Office in Chambersburg, PA. The role requires building parts shipments, warehousing, and data tracking.

You will work onsite, interact with government officials, and use systems such as LMP/GCSS-A, ERP and SAP-based logistics tools. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with Patriot Missile System or air defense systems.
• Familiarity with Army LMP and/or GCSS-A.
• Ability to read Army Technical Manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and oral communication.

What You Will Do

• Provide logistic support to U. S. Government customer, at the INTEGRATED FIRES MISSION COMMAND (IFMC) Office.
• Located on site at the IFMC Field Office in Chambersburg, PA.
• Represent RTX as liaison between Raytheon and U.S. Government at the IFMC Chambersburg Field Office (CFO).
• Prepare parts, kits and documents to move shipments CONUS and OCONUS in support of the warfighter, Patriot battalion fieldings, and modification teams maintaining Patriot equipment.
• Assist in shipping and receiving of assets in warehouse and maintaining warehouse stock to support all aspects of Patriot program.
• This includes inventories of items in warehouse and ordering replacement parts for warehouse stock.
• Maintain databases to track and report all shipments from the IFMC Field Office.
• This includes providing cost data of shipments of parts, modification kits and Major End Items (MEIs).
• Provide technical and engineering support to IFMC, Depots and Patriot battalions worldwide.
• Research and find solutions to various technical and logistical problems found within the Patriot Air Defense System using prints, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Manuals (TMs), and other resources.
• This includes providing replacement parts and technical assistance for FMS as well as U.S. owned systems.
• Investigate alternative sources of supply for parts and materials not in normal supply system used in PATRIOT program.
• Verify, as needed, parts and process instructions using prints, ECPs, TMs and MWOs.
• Work with other contractors in the IFMC Field Office to support special projects as assigned by the U. S. Government customer.
• Make use of the Army’s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and/or Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) or other Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) - based Logistics Information Systems as needed to support the Patriot Field Office.
• Travel as needed to represent the Patriot Field Office in support of the Patriot program.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and minimum 3 years experience
• Experience with the Patriot Missile System or air defense weapons systems
• Experience with the Army’s Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and/or Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) or Logistics based Information Systems.
• Understand how to access and read Army Technical Manuals and regulations.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Good written and oral skills, example presenting to a key customer via virtual, onsite, or directly.
• Craft presentations, briefing notes and reports that convey complex information effectively to government related officials.
• Experience with EDIS, IADS, ELMS TAMMS-A, AESIP, PIEE , VANTAGE, PDREP, DLA Disposition, CDTDP, CDECP, LEAD Docuware, FED LOG and WEB Desk.
• Knowledge of Patriot system with experience on Configuration 3+ radar is preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) Know how to read a technical schematic.
• Experience with shipping/receiving operations.
• Experience with IETMs and RPSTL Knowledge.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
