The Muscogee County School District is seeking a Principal to provide the vision and leadership needed to promote high academic achievement for all students. This role requires a Master's degree and leadership certification, plus several years of classroom and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required.
• Leadership certification (SRL or PRL) Tier II.
• At least 3 years as a K-12 classroom teacher and 3 years as Principal/Assistant Principal or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership to promote and sustain high academic achievement.
• Carry out the district strategic plan and align with GA Leader Key Standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in curriculum, instruction and data analysis; lead in best practices to improve achievement.
• Demonstrate operational and financial acumen and engage with community and stakeholders.
