Job summary

The Muscogee County School District seeks a Teacher Quality Specialist to plan high-quality face-to-face and online professional development, mentor and coach teachers, and support state and federal documentation requirements.

This exempt role reports to the Director of Leadership and Professional Development and requires a Master's degree, Georgia Professional Teacher certification, and at least three years of related experience in professional development and e-learning.

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited educational institution.
Valid Professional Georgia Teacher certification, related training and experience.
Minimum of three years job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility; experience in professional development and e-learning platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

Daily attendance and punctuality are required to meet team goals.
Assist administrators and academic coaches with interventions for teachers identified with performance issues.
Develop and maintain an online professional learning system for district training needs.
Collaborate with Content Specialists to analyze the instructional program and improve student performance.
Collaborate with internal and external personnel to implement and maintain services and programs.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions such as Best Practice Workshops and Teacher Leader Academy.
