Job summary

The Muscogee County School District seeks a Teacher Quality Specialist to plan high-quality face-to-face and online professional development, mentor and coach teachers, and support state and federal documentation requirements.

This exempt role reports to the Director of Leadership and Professional Development and requires a Master's degree, Georgia Professional Teacher certification, and at least three years of related experience in professional development and e-learning.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Valid Professional Georgia Teacher certification, related training and experience.
  • Minimum of three years job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility; experience in professional development and e-learning platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Daily attendance and punctuality are required to meet team goals.
  • Assist administrators and academic coaches with interventions for teachers identified with performance issues.
  • Develop and maintain an online professional learning system for district training needs.
  • Collaborate with Content Specialists to analyze the instructional program and improve student performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external personnel to implement and maintain services and programs.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions such as Best Practice Workshops and Teacher Leader Academy.
