Monarch Quantum is seeking a Principal Laser Scientist to architect and develop new laser platforms from concept through prototype and early productization. You will lead design across external cavity, fiber, and semiconductor lasers, defining multi-physics requirements and optimizing for performance, manufacturability, and cost.

The role requires hands-on lab work, collaboration with packaging and control systems teams, and mentorship of engineers.

Competenze

• PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or related field; exceptional MS candidates considered.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building laser systems.
• Experience with external cavity, fiber, or semiconductor laser architectures.
• Ability to lead design from concept to prototype and production.
