Job Description

This position is part of a newly established function within Enterprise Digital Services (EDS) called Business Relationship Management. Each role supports a specific region (Western, Central, Eastern, Continuing Care/Ambulatory) and drives the BRM function to ensure alignment and integration of EDS and regional initiatives, building strong relationships with stakeholders and partners across all ambulatory regions. The role acts as a trusted advisor, collaborating with regional stakeholders to understand their business objectives and identify technology needs, challenges, and opportunities related to care delivery, clinical workflows, and administrative processes.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing IT business solutions with Project Management Office (PMO) resources, facilitating portfolio governance and project prioritization, and supporting the strategic direction of the organization through ongoing interaction with IS leadership. The Program Management Office focuses on project lifecycle processes, tools, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead and facilitate regular meetings with Regional Leadership.
  2. Provide updates on regional strategies, priorities, and initiatives.
  3. Respond to constituents via emails, calls, and follow-ups with solutions.
  4. Partner with the business to develop plans, strategies, and roadmaps for the region and service lines.
  5. Support EPIC readiness activities for successful migration across regions and scope.
  6. Facilitate regional practice acquisitions and ambulatory capital programs.
  7. Provide onsite support and coverage at regional sites.
  8. Drive change management and communications for technology initiatives, serving as an executive sponsor of change agents.
  9. Ensure operational and technical readiness for technology implementations, including Epic.
  10. Establish, track, and report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of BRM and integration strategies.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and stakeholder engagement.
  12. Provide technical guidance and leadership at the enterprise level.
  13. Oversee IT Portfolio Management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and data collection for project dependencies.
  14. Collaborate with IT leadership to develop a master plan aligned with strategic objectives, conduct risk analysis, and improve IT delivery throughput.
  15. Manage Enterprise Portfolio Management operations, incorporating Lean Portfolio Management principles.
  16. Continuously evaluate industry best practices and adapt strategies accordingly.
  17. Perform related duties as required, considering all essential functions under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years in leadership/management roles.

Highly Preferred

  • 5+ years hospital operations or clinical experience.
  • 5+ years in a technology-related field.
  • Account management experience.
  • Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills for strategy development.
  • Project management skills.
  • Financial skills for business planning and budgeting.
  • Ability to facilitate and partner with regional leadership, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
