Job summary

Aave Labs is seeking a Principal iOS Engineer to lead the iOS team and shape the architecture of Aave App. You will blend hands-on craftsmanship with people leadership to deliver a secure, intuitive consumer savings experience built on blockchain infrastructure.

You will define the technical direction for iOS, set architecture standards, guide wallet security, transaction flows, performance, and release quality, and partner with design, product, backend, protocol, and security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production iOS applications.
• Deep Swift and UIKit expertise.
• Experience integrating blockchain functionality in iOS apps.
• Proven track record of setting architectural direction.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve iOS app architecture and code quality.
• Design and ship core blockchain capabilities, wallets, signing, RPCs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with design, product, backend, and security.
• Maintain security, performance, and release discipline.
• Remain hands-on in critical areas and mentor others.
