Responsibilities

• Lead study team as a Principal Investigator, ensuring trials are conducted safely and per protocol.
• Conduct clinical intake interviews to determine medical eligibility of potential study participants.
• Educate potential participants about diseases and the benefits of clinical trial participation.
• Manage the safety of study participants; respond to adverse events in a timely manner.
• Attend investigational meetings for clinical trials and scientific conferences.
• Provide medical leadership to clinicians and study coordinators.
• Maintain all required licenses.

Job Overview

Our client is seeking to hire a board-certified MD or DO who has completed a medical residency in the United States to join our team as principal investigator (“PI”) in clinical research at one of multiple locations in West Los Angeles, Riverside, Long Beach, and Irvine, California. The primary area of research will be Alzheimer's Disease prevention and treatment, though other studies may include MDD (major depressive disorder), and GLP-1/GIP/glucagon agonists and receptors. Prior research experience as a PI, Sub-I, or Co-Investigator is preferred for this role.

This is a full-time, in-person role. There are no planned overnight or weekend hours.

Requirements:

• A command of professional spoken and written English
