Job Description
This role requires an experienced Development Team Lead and Systems Engineer to serve as a Scrum Team Project Manager (SPM) within the IC environment. The SPM will lead one or more development teams, act as a key customer liaison with basic technical knowledge of web and mobile applications, and support the Agile Release Train Program Manager (ART PM) and Technical Lead (TL) in developing Epics, Features, and application roadmaps. Responsibilities include leading product design, working with product managers on requirements and prioritization, risk management, and developing implementation timelines in a tailored SAFe Agile DevSecOps environment. The role involves collaboration with internal systems engineers to align customer priorities throughout the implementation lifecycle, with experience in requirements management, portfolio management, Lean Six Sigma, and other optimization methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities
This role involves technical planning, coordination between Agile teams and mission customers, verification, validation, and deployment management.
Provide systems engineering and integration support for new capabilities, including development, staging, and release management processes.
Coordinate VC workflow management capabilities with program processes under government guidance.
Automate deployment of services, COTs, GOTS, custom code, and government-developed software to meet program objectives.
Act as a strategic business partner to help customers achieve mission outcomes and drive innovation through iterative feedback.
Lead project teams using agile methodologies, managing scope, schedule, and costs to meet project goals.
Track team work to completion, coordinate with team members and customers, ensure stories are complete, and manage production changes and deployment approvals.
Basic Qualifications
Expertise in Agile practices, service-oriented environments, development practices, configuration management, and change processes, with in-depth technical experience across multiple projects.
Understanding of web services protocols (SOAP, REST), JAVA, PHP, JBOSS, Tomcat, Linux, Windows, and Python.
Experience delivering integrated solutions using Agile techniques.
Experience integrating software, COTs, GOTS, FOSS, and capabilities into operational baselines.
Experience with security components integration and diverse system/database architectures.
Extensive experience with AWS services.
5+ years’ experience in integration engineering.
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years relevant experience.
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph
