Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time, staff Principal Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our team located in Greenville SC, Charlotte NC, or remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering and design activities, ensuring quality and adherence to project standards.
  • Coordinate with disciplines, departments, vendors, and clients.
  • Manage project cost and schedule commitments, including preparing estimates.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Establish work plans, staffing, and schedules for projects.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for compliance and quality.
Required Skills
  • Experience in project execution, instrumentation applications, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation, and familiarity with DCS & PLC systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 12+ years of instrumentation & control systems engineering experience, preferably in the Fossil Power industry.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Compensation

The salary range for this role is $136,400 - $204,600, depending on experience and location. Final offers may vary.
