Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a Principal Information Security Specialist to lead complex enterprise security initiatives. The role requires extensive experience in information security, regulatory compliance, and IAM within a demanding healthcare setting.

The position focuses on architecting secure enterprise solutions, overseeing security operations, and guiding policy implementation across CHOP’s technology landscape. A strong collaboration with CIO/CTO is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Preferred
• At least twelve (12) years industry related experience in a multitier environment
• At least six (6) years experience with information security, regulatory compliance and risk management
• At least three (3) years experience with Identity and Access Management, RBAC or controls
• Experience with Cloud and/or Virtualization technologies
• At least three (3) years in working with matrixed high performance teams

Responsabilités

• Works independently to initiate assignments and make judgments on complex problems and enterprise long‑term solutions.
• Optimizes information management approaches to align with evolving business needs and DTS strategies.
• Shapes and plans service lines in product areas, managing risks to information and assets.
• Acts as SME to maintain understanding of CHOP DTS business applications and security requirements.
• Collaborates with architects to deliver scalable, enterprise‑level solutions.
• Supports enterprise security operations including IAM, cloud security, monitoring, and data loss prevention.
• Contributes to business continuity and change management activities and communicates security issues to leadership.
