Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer who will play a key role in the Implantable Device Unit. You will drive manufacturing strategies for Class III implantable drug delivery systems, influencing decisions and establishing best practices.

Your responsibilities include leading manufacturing technology roadmaps and managing relationships with contract manufacturers to ensure scalable processes. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and over 10 years of experience in medical devices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in medical devices.
• Experience with Class III implantable devices and/or drug delivery systems.
• Strong knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing strategy, scale-up, and lifecycle management.
• Drive manufacturing technology roadmaps and process innovation.
• Evaluate suppliers and optimize supply chain processes.
