Job summary

Resonetics, a global leader in advanced engineering and micro manufacturing, seeks a Principal NPI/Process Development Engineer to lead cost-effective design and process improvements for active implantable devices.

You will drive manufacturing methods, mentor staff, and coordinate with development and operations to ensure rigorous quality and efficient transfer from R&D to production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of medical device experience in process development for Active Implantable Devices.
  • Experience with laser welding, header attachment, moisture bake, and helium leak testing.
  • Ability to independently develop medical device manufacturing processes from concept to production.
  • Experience with Design For Manufacturing, design control, quality systems and product development phases.

Responsibilities

  • Drives manufacturing process development for components, sub-assemblies, and finished devices.
  • Provides leadership and mentors engineers and technicians.
  • Acts as liaison between development and operations.
  • Ensures processes are repeatable and meet design requirements.
  • Prepares detailed project plans and milestones.
