Job summary

Allstate Insurance is hiring a Principal Engineer for Workforce, Customer & Agentic Identity. The role shapes the technical strategy, architecture, and modernization of identity platforms across workforce, customers, machines, and AI agents.

You will partner with engineering, product, and security teams to evolve authentication, governance, and access management at scale. You will lead initiatives across Zero Trust, MFA deployment, risk-based authentication, and trusted identity governance while

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions.
• Experience with Ping Identity, SailPoint or similar IAM platforms.
• Knowledge of customer and workforce identity, federation, SSO, MFA, and privileged access management.
• Experience designing Zero Trust identity architectures and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the identity strategy and architecture across the enterprise.
• Partner with engineers, architects, product teams, and security leaders to modernize identity solutions.
• Lead authentication, authorization, federation, governance, lifecycle, and access management initiatives.
• Drive Zero Trust programs including MFA, risk-based authentication, and least- privilege access controls.
• Mentor engineering teams and establish standards for identity roadmaps and governance.
