Job summary

Amgen seeks a Principal IS Architect to lead identity provisioning, entitlement management, and related security technologies in Tampa. You will guide architecture across cloud, data, and enterprise platforms, ensuring secure identity management and governance.

You will report to the Sr. Director Information Security at the Tampa Capability Center, collaborating with global teams to design robust IAM solutions, conduct security reviews, and drive continuous improvement in identity and access

Qualifications

• Doctorate/Master/Bachelor/Associate or high school with extensive IS experience.
• Experience in information security architecture and governance.
• Strong background in IAM, SSO and secrets management.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and identity services.
• Experience working with global teams and multi-priority workloads.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight for IdM projects and ensure security standards.
• Lead architecture and integration of enterprise secrets-management and non-human identities.
• Manage day-to-day operations, DR exercises, budgets, and staff functions.
• Drive governance, incident response, and security design consulting for projects.
• Mentor teams and participate in compliance and audit activities.
