Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead CSP engagements for GPU firmware and system software, coordinating with hyperscale customers to ensure fleet-scale reliability of updates and operation.

You will drive update orchestration, capture CSP feedback for the feature roadmap, and ensure customer automation and robust recovery procedures before each firmware release, while aligning across NVIDIA and CSP teams.

Qualifications

15+ years in GPU system software or firmware.
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Deep understanding of GPU architecture and memory hierarchy.
Experience with multi-GPU fabric architectures and firmware coordination.
Experience with firmware update lifecycle at scale.
Ability to influence engineering teams and drive quality.
Strong customer obsession for fleet-scale NVIDIA deployments.

Responsibilities

Drive GPU firmware/software work streams with CSP engineering teams.
Synthesize CSP feedback and champion priorities into the feature roadmap.
Drive GPU firmware update orchestration for large-scale deployments.
Serve as the technical focal point between NVIDIA and CSP firmware/software teams.
Identify cross-CSP GPU SW/FW issue patterns and drive improvements.
