Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead GPU/CPU platform development for its AI cloud hardware. You will drive platform definition, integration, testing, and performance characterization while coordinating with Oracle internal teams and external GPU suppliers.

The role emphasizes hands-on debugging, firmware tools expertise, and collaboration across hardware and software domains to deliver scalable, secure AI infrastructure for OCI.

Qualifications

• Experience with market-leading GPU or AI platform hardware development, testing, and characterization.
• Ability to balance performance, power, cost, and cross-functional requirements.
• Strong understanding of AI/GPU or AI/CPU platform architectures.
• Experience with platform firmware debugging and system diagnostics tools.
• Familiarity with high-speed interconnects and server platform architectures.

Responsibilities

• Review third-party merchant silicon and assess architecture for AI accelerators.
• Define platform development plans, oversee integration, and drive performance characterization.
• Collaborate with Oracle hardware/software teams and external partners to scale AI platforms.
