Qualifications

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a global leader to join our Global System Integrators (GSI) partner team for the role of Global Partner Development Manager – GSI. As the Global Partner Development Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and deliver on our global partnership with one or more large GSIs, drive Agentic AI adoption across Customers globally, increase migration services across different verticals with a key strategic, global consulting partner(s).

AWS partners & resellers include the largest software and systems integration companies (such as SAP, Adobe, Cognizant, Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, PwC, TCS and others) as well as hundreds of innovative software and services companies who are using AWS as their cloud platform and agentic AI services of choice. This role will focus on working with one or two global, strategic consulting partner and their executive leadership, vertical and horizontal leadership and AWS partner development managers to create long-term strategy and execute it. Responsibilities include building global C-level relationships at partner organizations and within AWS, creating long-term vision statements and strategic plans to support your partner’s objectives to build cloud and Agentic AI businesses, and establishing strategic agreements to execute on the shared plan that drives top line revenue growth on AWS and joint GTM efforts worldwide. You will work with AWS technology partners to build or transform their business by engaging with C-level leaders, facilitating workshops, and driving to a particular business transformational outcome. You have good understanding of AWS’ leading Agentic services, good understanding of AWS AI Services and broader Agentic ecosystem.

By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with this strategic partner(s), you will be responsible for new revenue growth, increased market adoption and the expansion of the partner’s largest global AWS migration opportunities. You will possess a business/sales background with a leading consulting or systems integrator that enables them to develop forward-thinking initiatives that will create large and strategic partner-leading deals that have migrations to AWS cloud at its core with some experience. You will not only create and conceptualize tech programs but also be able to manage their roll‑out through their partner. You will think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and can build strong industry relationships. You are an influencer by nature and must be seen as someone for which the partners are eager to engage.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop extensive executive and senior management relationships within partner organization; being viewed as a "trusted advisor"
  • Create, articulate, and position an innovative and compelling vision and value proposition so that Partner executives clearly realize the financial benefits and transformational value to their customers business of migrating to AWS
  • Develop a multi-year commercial value proposition to support large deals and migrations to AWS with the strategic Partner while managing complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group
  • Help the partner set up their business to manage large scale migrations, supporting their customers overall journey to the Cloud
  • Drive the co-development of new go-to-market solutions and opportunities with the partner Drive Agentic AI adoption across global customers in partnership with GSI
  • Manage revenue targets and work with the partner and AWS sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals
  • Understand and exploit the use of salesforce.com and other internal AWS systems
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of sales, business development, and product and program management experience within a leading consulting company or global systems integrator
  • Experience in roles that require quota attainment and key performance metrics
  • Sales experience across industry and technology domains
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Experience in selling in to enterprise customers
  • Sales and Account Management experience with large global consulting organizations
  • 5+ years working within large-scale organizations or experience selling to and partnering with these organizations to deliver global cloud migrations
  • Familiarity with selling/managing large migration programs, ideally to the Public Cloud. Good understanding of Agentic AI led transformations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
