Job summary

Team IMPACT, Inc. in Boston, MA seeks a Principal Gifts Director to identify, cultivate, solicit, and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth donors. This leadership role partners with the CEO and development team to advance fundraising strategies and participate in key organizational events.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in development and fundraising, exceptional communication, and a track record of securing major gifts. Travel flexibility to attend events evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in development and fundraising, specifically in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of high net-worth individuals.
• Exceptional communication skills, oral, written, and presentation.
• Possess the ability to clearly articulate Team IMPACT’s mission and vision.
• Display a high level of integrity, creativity, and motivation.
• Display a strong work ethic and be self-starter.
• Ability to travel extensively, including attending events in the evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and manage a major gifts portfolio of high-net-worth individuals capable of giving $100,000 or more annually.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 prospects.
• Develop prospects engagement strategies with an emphasis on building and managing long-term relationships.
• Partner with the Annual Giving and Individual Giving team on fundraising goals and strategies.
• As an organizational leader contribute to development and fundraising best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on fundraising events nationally.

Position Summary

As a member of the leadershipteamthePrincipal GiftDirectorwillidentify, cultivate,solicit,and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, prospects,donors, and family foundations.The Principal GiftsDirectorwillwork closely withtheChief Executive Officer (CEO)andthedevelopmentleadershipteamon fundraising strategies,participateinkeyorganizational events and meetings, andcollaboratewith internal and external stakeholders on fundraising events.The ideal candidatesmust beexperiencedinthedevelopment, fundraising,and non-profitsarea.This position reports to the National Director of Developmentandpartnerswith the CEO.The salary range for this position isXXKtoXXXKannually.

Key Responsibilities
