Job summary

Odyssey is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support the ISR Sensors Division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires deep GEOINT and radar expertise, with DoD program experience, plus strong software/embedded engineering background.

The engineer will translate user needs into system requirements, participate in ICD reviews, and contribute to test plans, integration, and lifecycle planning. Travel up to 10% and onsite work at Wright Patterson AFB are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD with extensive DoD discipline experience.
• Expertise in GEOINT, radar, satellites or signal processing.
• Background as software/systems/embedded engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide GEOINT engineering support for advanced ISR technologies.
• Translate DoD needs into system requirements and conduct analyses.
• Review ICDs, SOMs, and test plans for feasibility and cost.
• Support system integration, interface definitions, and ICWG activities.
• Contribute to program plans and lifecycle sustainment planning.
• Assist with trade studies and system/subsystem testing.
