Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services seeks a Principal Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical and business goals.

You will lead complex GenAI/ML projects, mentor teams, and guide customers through migration and optimization using AWS AI/ML services. The role emphasizes strong business fluency and technical excellence, customer relationships, and risk management throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and building complex, scalable, and secure GenAI and ML applications and models built on AWS tailored to customer needs
• Produce AI-native deliverables - custom AI tools for customers rather than static documents or generic artifacts
• Must have both business fluency AND technical capability
• Comfortable navigating complex customer relationships, identifying business problems and building trust.
• Providing technical guidance and implementation support throughout project delivery, with a focus on using AWS AI/ML services
• Collaborating with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective model training, building, and deployment strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
