Qualifications

• 18–20 years in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and BI with 6+ years on GCP.
• Led at least two PB-scale migrations to the cloud.
• Experience directing large, cross-functional engineering teams in Agile/DevOps.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term data platform roadmap on GCP aligned with business goals.
• Architect and oversee modern self-serve data platforms for decentralized teams.
• Lead end-to-end migrations from AWS to GCP.
• Design robust data governance and security architectures (IAM, VPC Service Controls, encryption).
• Drive IaC automation using Terraform or Pulumi for repeatable infra.
• Collaborate with executives to articulate data ROI and manage technical risk.
