Job summary

E1 is seeking a hands-on Principal Engineer to own the architecture of a platform serving brand and creator portals, the services behind them, and AI systems matching creators with campaigns. You will continue writing production code while setting engineering standards and mentoring others.

You will tackle payments, verification, scale, and ambiguous product requirements, delivering durable technical decisions and cross-team leadership that elevates overall product quality.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience building and operating production web applications.
• Strong TypeScript expertise across the stack and experience with a modern frontend framework such as React.
• Deep knowledge of relational data modeling and safe schema-migration practices in systems operating at scale.
• Experience with production cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and ownership of CI/CD practices.
• Demonstrated technical leadership without relying on formal management authority.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions while remaining close enough to the code and product details to implement and validate them.
