WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, build, and ship features across Laravel, PHP/Laravel for front-end and back-end on AWS.
- Orchestrate large Blitzy runs for sweeping refactors; review and harden the resulting PRs.
- Establish AI-assisted development standards—prompt patterns, validation gates, automated testing.
- Drive technical strategy with Product, ensuring we solve the right problems, not just write more lines of code.
- Automate CI/CD and infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform so deployment stays self-service and fast.
Requirements:
YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU
- Bring 8+ years of production web experience and have nuanced points of view on various AI coding tools.
- Default to writing tests even when AI drafts the first pass.
- Have been an engineering management leader before, but would prefer to focus on technical leadership and individual contribution.
- Communicate crisply—concise RFCs, Loom walk-throughs, thoughtful code reviews.
- Stay current on AI research, blogs, and podcasts, and can cite a recent insight that changed your perspective.
