Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Principal Fraud Analytics Technical Lead to oversee fraud analytics workstreams and guide technical delivery across monitoring, investigations, reporting, and platform operations. You will leverage Python, SQL, Spark, and SIEM tools to develop indicators, models, and workflows, while coordinating with engineers and government or client teams.

The role requires 7+ years in fraud analytics or related fields, with on-site work in Lanham, MD, and an ability to obtain Public

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in fraud analytics or related fields.
• Experience leading analytics or platform delivery teams.
• Experience developing analytical reports, dashboards, and executive-ready products.
• Experience providing technical direction to analytics/engineering teams.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, Spark, and SIEM tools.
• Strong ability to work onsite in Lanham, MD five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead fraud analytics workstreams and coordinate delivery of analytical products.
• Analyze data to identify fraudulent activity, anomalies, risks, and improvements.
• Improve detection logic, models, and analytics workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate analytics, reporting, and data integration.
• Support data ingestion, schema alignment, and data quality reviews.
• Prepare technical briefings, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver capabilities.
• Support investigative and forensic analysis of transaction and system data.
• Track progress and coordinate task assignments for recurring reports.
