Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Staff Fraud Analytics Consultant to perform fraud analytics, data analysis, reporting, and investigative support as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role requires applying standard analytical methods to structured problems and working independently on routine tasks with guidance for complex work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in a STEM field or related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in fraud analytics, cybersecurity analytics, data analysis, BI, investigations, or related field.
• Experience analyzing datasets to identify trends, anomalies, or correlations.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or analytical products for decision-making.
• Experience using SQL or data analysis tools to query, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Experience supporting data integration, ETL, data quality initiatives.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks while collaborating with teams.
• Willingness to work onsite at the client location in Lanham, MD five days/week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logs, activity, user behavior, and fraud data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Support fraud prevention, detection, response, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop reports, dashboards, briefings, and technical documentation for stakeholders.
• Prepare data, quality reviews, and data integration to support analytics.
• Document methodologies and findings to support QA and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with government personnel and contractor teams onsite in Lanham, MD five days a week.
