MKS is seeking a Principal Firmware Engineer for its Indirect Pressure Measurement Group in Colorado. You will lead firmware development for embedded metrology products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex hardware-software challenges.

The role requires deep C/C++ expertise, 8+ years in embedded engineering, and hands-on experience with hardware interaction, emulators, and diagnostic tools. Onsite in Broomfield, CO with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering and 8+ years of related experience.
• Embedded system architecture and algorithm development experience.
• Fluency with C and C++ programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software for firmware.
• Troubleshoot firmware (IC embedded) applications.
• Work with analog and digital hardware and software operating systems.
• Support hardware design and diagnostics around the processor.
• Define architecture, implementation, verification and validation of firmware for embedded metrology products.
