Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering related field or equivalent work experience.
• Cloud certification such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent.
• 10 years of IT experience including cloud FinOps or data engineering, with at least 2 years focused specifically on AI/ML workloads and LLM infrastructure.
• 7 years of architecture experience or software development experience.
• 3 years of cloud architecture.

Aufgaben

• Architect, build, and scale the operational frameworks, architectural patterns, and data pipelines needed to control AI costs, optimize token usage, and enforce governance.
• Design and implement complex architectural solutions using cloud design principles, best practices and industry standards.
• Standardize Consumption: Build the enterprise-wide framework for tracking LLM token consumption across AWS and Azure.
• Implement Guardrails: Define and implement real-time rate limiting, token throttling, and multi-cloud model-routing policies to control costs before they occur.
• Establish Unit Economics: Define AI-specific unit metrics to measure true business ROI.
• Leads unique and complex cost/benefit modelling with mapping to business KPI's.
• Educates team to design and implement architectures based on FinOps best practices.
• Provides hands-on technical coaching to accelerate Cloud learning across the Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Ensures that the design, development and delivery of infrastructure in the Cloud incorporates FinOps principles.
• Develops strategies to incorporate FinOps data into the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Cloud Service Providers and FinOps tool vendors to mature FinOps capabilities.
• Designs and develops data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data for AWS and Azure CSPs.
• Hands-on configuration and administration of all FinOps tooling and integration with cloud platforms.
• Develop scripts and tools for automating deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes.
• Consult with application/business teams to optimize cost with FinOps principles.
• Define additional FinOps roles and assist in hiring processes.
• Optimize and fine-tune data workflows for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Implement security and data governance best practices to maintain integrity and compliance.
