The role supports cash management, reviews complex financing agreements, and participates in S4 pre-project and implementation to optimize treasury processes for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years in finance roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with treasury, cash management and financing agreements.
  • SOX-controlled environment experience or strong controls background.

Job Description

The Principal Financial Analyst provides support to the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer/Manager of Treasury Operations by leading treasury operations compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) activities; administering the day-to-day activities related to credit facilities, letters of credit, intercompany reimbursements and loans, pension plan and Foundation investments; and assisting with daily cash management operations. Additionally, they are responsible for reviewing complex legal documents for new and existing financing needs. They will engage in S4 pre-project and S4 implementation work to ensure payment and other treasury-related functionality are optimized for efficiency and accuracy. Provides analytical and technical support for treasury activities as needed, including rate case testimony support.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and/or equivalent experience with progressively increasing level of responsibility
  • 5+ years in finance roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision in a fast paced, stressful, and multitasking environment
  • Experience with treasury and cash management
  • Experience with contract review and understanding of financial terminology related to financing agreements
  • SOX controlled environment (might have flexibility here, if you have strong accounting and controls background, or audit experience, and knowledge of compliance/documentation)
