What You Can Expect

• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of cloud data-center architecture and deployment. Serve as a subject matter expert on Marvell’s high-speed interconnect semiconductor solutions, including Optical DSPs, Coherent DSPs, and retimers. Understand their integration into optical modules and Active Electrical Cables, with a focus on signal integrity, link budgets, and performance.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong technical relationships with hyperscaler and cloud infrastructure customers. Understand their system requirements and deployment challenges, aligning Marvell’s solutions accordingly.
• System Architecture: Act as a trusted advisor, explaining how Marvell’s semiconductor components enable high performance in optical modules and AECs. Support design-in efforts and drive adoption through strategic technical engagement.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on Marvell’s connectivity portfolio, providing guidance on product selection, integration, and interoperability.
• Training and Documentation: Deliver technical training, product briefings, and demos. Create technical collateral like application notes and integration guides.
• Market Insights: Monitor industry trends and competitors to inform product development strategies.

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates will have a solid foundation in networking, customer-facing experience, and system-level problem solving. This senior individual contributor role is ideal for those with experience supporting complex hardware/software solutions in data centers or cloud infrastructure, with strong pre-sales skills.

• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in system-level engineering in networking, optical, or cloud data centers.
• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., FAE, Solutions Architect).
• Deep understanding of optical transceivers, retimers, and high-speed cable tech.
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE 802.3, OIF, MSAs).
• Experience supporting optical and electrical interconnects in data centers.
• Proficiency with lab tools and scripting (Python is a plus).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel (primarily West Coast).

Compensation & Benefits
