Overview

As members of the People & Places organization, we are stewards of Intuit's greatest strategic asset: our people. Intuit's Executive Recruiting team is made up of the best in the industry — and we hold ourselves to that standard every day. We move fast, think strategically, and are relentlessly focused on identifying, assessing, and hiring the leadership talent that powers Intuit's growth and helps our employees do the best work of their lives.

Responsibilities
The Role

This is not a coordination role. As a Principal Executive Recruiter at Intuit, you are a business accelerant.

You bring a rare combination: deep fluency in the executive talent market, the ability to assess leaders with precision, and the influencing skills to move both candidates and senior business partners toward great decisions. You run searches with pace and purpose — leveraging AI and modern tools to compress timelines without sacrificing quality. You manage executive searches across specific functions and you do it at a level that shapes outcomes for the company.

You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, a sharp assessor of talent, and a recruiter who knows how to close. You'll bring an informed point of view — on market dynamics, on candidates, and on what great leadership looks like — and use it to help Intuit win.

What You'll Do

Drive search velocity and outcomes

  • Lead full-lifecycle executive searches with a bias toward speed, quality, and diverse slates
  • Leverage AI tools and modern sourcing technology to accelerate pipeline development, reduce time-to-slate, and drive outsized results
  • Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies across disciplines — reaching talent before the need is urgent

Operate as a strategic talent advisor

  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to deeply understand business strategy, organizational design, and the leadership talent required to execute
  • Bring informed market intelligence — on competitor moves, talent availability, and compensation trends — that shapes how searches are scoped and run
  • Coach hiring managers on assessment, structured interviewing, and the long-term engagement of passive talent

Assess and close with precision

  • Apply rigorous, evidence-based assessment approaches to evaluate executive candidates across leadership competencies, functional expertise, and culture fit
  • Lead offer negotiations with confidence — structuring deals that are competitive, equitable, and aligned to Intuit's total rewards philosophy
  • Create candidate experiences that reflect the caliber of company and role we're representing

Elevate the team

  • Contribute to operational excellence through ownership of team-level strategic projects
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion at every stage of the search process
  • Serve as a mentor and thought partner to peers across the broader talent acquisition organization
