Client: Utilities Company

Location: Columbus, OH (2x per week on site)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Rate: $85/hr W2

Reporting to the Head of Architecture, the Principal Enterprise Architect works closely with various teams to provide architecture leadership across the organization. The role requires deep experience with applications in customer channels & corporate systems, APIs, and application development lifecycles. The candidate will build the architecture vision, strategy, and capability roadmap, translating business needs into transformation roadmaps, establishing target architectures, and guiding solution development.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior expertise on overall enterprise architecture to support business strategy.
• Interact with business and IT leaders, vendors, and industry experts to translate requirements and create architecture blueprints.
• Define strategic direction, review and advise on system options, risks, and costs, and recommend innovative solutions.
• Establish standards and governance processes for technology solutions.
• Research and propose solutions aligned with industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications

• Focus on full stack customer channels & corporate solution applications.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience, especially in Application / Customer Channels & Corporate Systems.
• Deep understanding of relevant application capabilities and experience with on-premise and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Technologies include Concourse, Copado, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, among others.
