Base pay range

$75.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Job Title – Principal Enterprise Architect – CMMC & Federal Compliance

Location – Remote (occasional travel to client sites as required)

Role Type – Contract (initial 8-month contract with strong potential for extension)

Must Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of relevant experience
• Enterprise Architect experience and expert-level cybersecurity knowledge
• Consulting experience with RMF, FedRAMP, and CMMC in federal/DoD environments
• Deep understanding of GRC, FAR, DFARS, CUI, and compliance frameworks
• Strong leadership, team management, communication skills, and willingness to travel

Responsibilities and Job Details:

• Lead enterprise architecture design and oversight for federal clients seeking CMMC and FedRAMP compliance
• Serve as a senior advisor on secure enterprise transformation aligned with RMF, NIST, and CMMC frameworks
• Develop strategic architecture roadmaps integrating cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud governance
• Assess client IT environments and deliver tailored architectural recommendations for compliance and modernization
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders, system owners, and compliance teams to ensure alignment and buy-in
• Guide implementation of cybersecurity controls across infrastructure, applications, and data layers
• Drive enterprise-level compliance initiatives, including governance documentation, evidence readiness, and audit response
• Mentor teams across engineering, risk, and compliance functions to build organizational capability
• Present technical concepts and risk findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Lead workshops, client briefings, and architecture working groups
• Stay ahead of evolving federal mandates and industry best practices in cybersecurity architecture
• Ensure projects meet delivery expectations, performance standards, and compliance milestones
