Job summary

Visa is seeking a hands‑on technical leader to drive architecture and engineering for the Acceptance Platform. You will shape search, analytics, and data enrichment, while mentoring engineers and delivering scalable, secure solutions for high‑volume payments data.

The role combines backend and frontend leadership, with emphasis on modern UI, observability, and AI/ML‑enabled engineering practices to improve delivery and business outcomes. In‑office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7+ with Advanced degree or 13+ years total experience.
• Experience in payments, fintech, or high‑volume processing environments.
• Hands‑on technical leader with architecture, design reviews, and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and evolution of Search and Analytics capabilities for the Visa Acceptance Platform.
• Design secure, scalable search, indexing, analytics, and data‑processing for high‑volume use cases.
• Provide technical leadership for user interfaces enabling search, analytics, reporting, and data‑driven workflows.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, problem solving, and production troubleshooting.
• Communicate strategy and tradeoffs to executives and cross‑functional teams.
