Job summary

RTX is hiring a Principal Engineer for One Shots in Tucson, AZ. You will apply advanced propulsion technologies and provide technical oversight to subcontractors, while interfacing with customers to define requirements and ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor in STEM with 8+ years (or 12+ years without a degree) and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Relocation is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics required with 8+ years of experience (or 12+ years without degree).
• Experience in development of solid propulsion systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Apply and/or develop advanced one shot devices technologies into products.
• Provide technical oversight to subcontractors and manage suppliers on schedule and budget.
• Interface with customers to identify user needs and support technical program reviews.
• Oversee test data reduction, analysis and verification; support proposals and CIDS.
