Apply today!# **Job Details****Position Summary**The Principal Network Engineer will lead network assessment, architecture, integration, and divestiture activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, and business separations. This role serves as the technical lead responsible for evaluating acquired environments, developing integration strategies, and driving execution plans that align acquired organizations with enterprise networking and security standards. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with cross-functional leadership across infrastructure, security, and M&A teams. **Key Responsibilities*** Lead technical due diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.* Assess target-company network environments, data centers, connectivity models, applications, and security architectures.* Develop network integration and migration roadmaps for acquired or divested businesses.* Design secure connectivity between acquired environments and the enterprise network.* Evaluate networking technologies against enterprise architecture standards and identify remediation requirements.* Partner with acquisition teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to define integration requirements.* Create technical plans and provide engineering leadership throughout execution.* Identify technical risks, operational dependencies, deficiencies, and integration cost considerations.* Apply the preferred, acceptable, discouraged, and unacceptable (PADU) model to target inventories and recommend remediation.* Establish modernization recommendations that improve network performance, resiliency, security, and supportability.
