The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Product Development Center (PDC) located in Wauwatosa, WI is home to the mantra - You dream it. We build it. Join our team as a Principal Engineer - Human Factors.
The Human Factors Principal Engineer will deliver world-class Human Computer Interactions (HCI) and ergonomic motorcycles while supporting Harley-Davidson's product methodology requirements using virtual modeling, laboratory and on-track/road testing. This role will work in the Rider Experience team within Vehicle Engineering and support new and current product teams, focusing on maintaining a premium customer experience through the product design.
This position typically requires a minimum of eight years of related experience. Motorcycle rider or desire to learn is required. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:
Ergonomic Analysis
Human Computer Interface (HCI or HMI)
Setting Vehicle Targets
Project Management
CAD / Virtual Assembly
