Job summary

COA Network Inc is seeking a senior engineer to drive the development of mission-critical aerospace technologies in Kalamazoo, MI. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, ensuring robust designs, rigorous analyses, and validated solutions for complex systems.

The role requires 10+ years of engineering leadership, strong data analysis and project management skills, and a deep understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronics, Systems Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience in complex technical environments.
• Must have experience working with axial piston pumps.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, systems design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards (aerospace experience preferred).
• Experience leading technical projects, engineering analyses, and product development activities.
• Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Proficiency with engineering tools, data analysis software, and project management systems.
• Ability to interpret complex technical data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to leadership and customers.
• Experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams or junior talent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced engineering analyses, testing, and validation activities related to new or modified designs, materials, equipment, or processes.
• Document findings and results in detailed reports.
• Lead complex engineering assignments and multiple projects, ensuring progress, quality, and successful delivery.
